Sarah Smith founded Evolution HR Services Ltd in 2018, with the aim of helping businesses in the West Yorkshire area and advising them on their HR and data protection requirements.

“I’ve worked in a number of different industries including, Retail, Legal and Financial Services. As a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) for nearly 20 years, I’ve worked in various Senior Manager roles within HR. My experience covers Resourcing/Talent Acquisition, Generalist HR, Policies and Contract development.

 

The latter part of my career I spent working on HR projects. These included, the review and development of IR35 compliant contracts, the procurement and implementation of a new Talent Acquisition system and the management of GDPR compliance within HR.

 

It was the interest and experience I gained working on the GDPR that has led me to train as a GDPR Practitioner, a qualification gained through the Information Security certification board GASQ. It’s a fascinating subject and one I’m exceedingly passionate about.”
